Purro Wallet Privacy Policy

Overview

Purro is a non-custodial Web3 wallet. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information for advertising. Your seed phrase and private keys are encrypted and stored locally on your device and never leave it.

Data We Process

Local wallet data (stored on your device):

• Encrypted seed phrase, private keys, and password
• Wallet addresses, labels, settings, token/NFT caches, and UI preferences

Blockchain data:

• Public on-chain information such as wallet addresses, balances, and transactions

Service interaction data (when you use features):

• Requests to blockchain/RPC and market data providers (may include your IP address and wallet address necessary to fulfill the request)

How We Use Data

• Provide wallet functionality: connect to dApps, sign messages/transactions, show balances/portfolio
• Operate features reliably: refresh data, auto-lock, and background tasks compliant with Chrome MV3
• Notify you of transaction/signing status (if enabled)

Legal bases (where applicable, e.g., GDPR): performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating the service, and/or your consent (e.g., notifications).

Third-Party Services

When you use wallet features, requests may be sent to third-party services to read or broadcast data, for example:

• RPC/node providers (e.g., Alchemy) for reading/pushing transactions
• Indexers/market data (e.g., GeckoTerminal) for pricing/metadata
• Protocol-specific APIs (e.g., Hyperliquid, Hyperscan) for related features

These providers may process your IP address and wallet address to deliver results. Please review their privacy policies.

Storage & Security

• Sensitive data (seed/keys) is encrypted and stored locally on your device
• We do not upload seed/keys to our servers
• You are responsible for safeguarding your device, seed phrase, and password

Your Choices & Rights

• Export, reset, or delete local wallet data and caches in settings at any time
• Withdraw consent for optional features (e.g., disable notifications)

Note: We cannot recover your seed/keys as we never store them.

Data Retention

• Wallet data remains on your device until you reset or uninstall the extension
• Minimal technical logs (if any) are retained only as necessary and purged on a reasonable schedule

International Transfers

Requests to third-party providers may be processed on servers outside your country. Their policies and safeguards apply to those transfers.

Children’s Privacy

The wallet is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Cookies & Tracking

No advertising trackers. We use browser storage and local caching strictly to operate wallet features.

Browser Permissions & APIs

We use browser permissions (e.g., storage, scripting, notifications, side panel, alarms, offscreen) solely to:

• Store local wallet data/settings
• Inject a standard provider for dApp connectivity
• Present signing/transaction UI and refresh data
• Schedule auto-lock/cache maintenance and run compliant background tasks

We do not execute remotely hosted code.

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted at https://purro.xyz/privacy with an updated “Effective date.”
